Cookies & Trackers Policy

Last updated: August 2026

In the current website configuration, frenchwithjo.com does not intentionally use advertising, behavioural profiling or audience-measurement trackers that require prior consent.

1. What are cookies and trackers?

Cookies are small files that may be stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies can also store or access information on a device and are commonly referred to as trackers.

2. Current frenchwithjo.com configuration

ServiceUseConsent status
FrenchWithJo website No advertising pixel or audience-measurement tool is intentionally included in the current website code. No consent banner is currently required for such trackers because they are not in use.
Cloudflare Website delivery, HTTPS, infrastructure and security. Depending on enabled security features, strictly necessary technical cookies or signals may be used. Prior consent is not required where a tracker is strictly necessary for the requested service or security purpose.
Stripe The user may be redirected to a Stripe-hosted payment page when payment is enabled. Cookies on the Stripe-hosted page are governed by Stripe's own configuration and policy.
Calendly The user may be redirected to Calendly to choose a lesson time when booking is enabled. Cookies on the Calendly-hosted page are governed by Calendly's own configuration and policy.

3. Why there is currently no cookie-consent banner

A consent banner is useful when a website uses optional trackers that require consent. The current FrenchWithJo site does not intentionally load analytics, advertising or profiling scripts on frenchwithjo.com itself.

If this changes — for example if Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising tools or embedded third-party widgets are added — the website's consent mechanism and this policy must be reviewed before those trackers are activated.

4. The Discovery form

Entering personal information in the Discovery form is a personal-data processing activity, but it is not in itself the same thing as placing a cookie on your device. The use of form data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

5. Browser controls

You can view, delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technical cookies may affect the operation or security of some services.

6. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the website begins using additional cookies, trackers or embedded third-party services.
